1) Pussy Riot make it clear to Amnesty: These people are not in the collective

Despite making it clear in every interview they’ve had, it seems that it’s taken a letter from the Collective to focus people’s mind on the fact that once you’ve been de-masked, you’re no longer in Pussy Riot (A bit like Mystique in X-Men 3). They’re also pretty annoyed about their name being used to sell tickets, especially alongside a man in balaclava on the poster

4) NAS is reissuing his album “Illmatic”.

I think reissues are a waste most of the time, but for NAS to rerelease this album serves as a reminder of where he’s been to get where is his. An encouragement to the new wave of old school rappers that are emerging.

5) Cibo Matto release their first album in 15 years!

If I heard these guys 15 years ago, I would have dismissed them straight away. They just weren’t in line with my guitar-centric sensibilities. I’m really glad they’ve come back to remind me that the music that I appreciate now has always been around, I just wasn’t ready for it yet. Stream the album at NPR.
